Near San Isidro in the south of the island is the kinetics and sculpture park
of the GERNOT-HUBER-foundation. The GERNOT-HUBER-foundation was established
1997 by the designer and sculptor Gernot Huber and his wife Gisela.
On the wide 80,000 square meter area of the Finca "los Cardones" you can see
besides the artwork of the founder made out of steel, stone and acrylic glass,
further numerous artworks of many various artists, at present they are more
than 50. The park is surrounded by volcanic calderas in 300 m altitude with
a wide view on the Atlantic Ocean in front of the impressive scenery of the
3716 m high Teide, however unfortunatly often clouded.
Opened every first Sunday in February, respectively between 2-6 p.m.
