The Day of the Cross (Dia de la Cruz) is celebrated at the 3. May, not only on Tenerife but also all over the Canary Islands, and the already beautiful crosses at the houses will be lovely decorated with flowers.

Then it is holiday in all communities which have the "Cruz" in their name, so thus also in Puerto de la Cruz, where our photographs were shot.

In the streets, the households prepared large dinner tables and we were spontaneously invited by the friendly people to celebrate the evening together.
