The photographs prepared for this website are a compromise between file size and image quality.
If we would integrate the maximum quality into a Quicktime-VR movie, this file would have over 20 MB...
too much, in order to bring it "just on the way" to display on a Website .
During the production we use - at present - a Nikon D80 reflex camera (SLR)
with 10.2 Megapixel as well as a Nikon 10.5 mm Fullframe Fisheye Lens. Some
panoramas are produced using a Nikon D70.
Together with a Manfroto Multi-Row Panoramahead and a stand it weights approximately 8 kilos...
which has to be carried on each location.
With this equipment we produce a total of 9 pictures per setting, which are composed
with special software at the computer to a complete 360-Degree Spherical Panorama.
To guarantee the highest quality, already the photo-shooting requires great care
and finally a high degree of sensitiveness in picture editing.
