Panorama Photo-Tour across the North-West of Tenerife
Northwest we call in the broadest sense all areas of the island west a
fictitious line of Puerto de la Cruz towards Los Gigantes.
Here, like in the northeast, outweighs a raw, wild landscape with steep
coasts and between them again and again numerous picturesque small towns.
We put together to own city tours the pictures of the larger cities,
like Icod de los Vinos,
Garachico and
Buenavista del Norte.
Punta de Tenno - the end of the world - should one fear the danger of
always heavy rain and wind - growing by reading the danger signs, then
you are going to lose however a fabulous spectacle of nature - volcanic
rock and sea - there is nothing else to say...
Masca - a very beautiful mountain village in the Teno mountains - also
here you find - as in the Anaga mountains - lush green nature. Till
the middle of the last century the place could be reached only by old
mule pathways. Today whole busloads arriving crowded with tourists, who
however usually disappear again in the later afternoon. The place is
connected with Santiago del Teide and Buenavista del Norte by a well
constructed, but very curvy and narrow road.
