In the center of the north-west coast is located the once small fishing village Los Gigantes. It is actually called Acantilados de los Gigantes, that means the rock face of the giants. Today there are numerous holiday apartments. The spectacular view from the steep rocks falling up to 450 metres vertically into the sea attract thousands of visitors for boat tours.

The modern buildings, not only here, also in the neighbouring place Puerto de Santiago, has already today led grow together the cities seamlessly into one another.
