Las Caletillas is a small coastal village northern Candelaria. Only 17 kilometers away from the capital Santa Cruz were built a lot of hotel resorts.

The beaches are very crowded in the summer, but the waves and tide are rougher in this area, so swimmers have to take more care here. For those who want to swim in smoother waters there is also a public seawater swimming pool.

Like all over the coast there are many restaurants offering wonderful fresh fish.
