The municipal Guía de Isora at the westcoast got its name from the city of the same name above the coastal villages Alcalá and Playa de San Juan. Guía de Isora is located at the communication road which passes in the north alongside Adeje and Santiago del Teide.

Here is not only a wonderful old town centre with a typical plaza and church, but along the main road are also very modern buildings, a culture centre and numerous shops.
