At the serpentine street above Garachico is located El Tanque at 600 meters of height at the northside of the Teno mountains, offering a fantastic panoramic view. The idyllic village is still influenced by the agriculturally used area, which is here noted for the typical cultivation of potatoes and vegetables on terraces.

The tourist attraction of the area is the Camel Park, located noth of El Tanque between Cruz Grande and Ruigomez. Here it is possible to explore the beautiful landscape on the back of a camel.
