At the most external northwest coast of Tenerife when you are driving towards Punta del Teno you arrive at Buenavista del Norte.

Central meeting place of the inhabitants as well as for the few tourists, is the Plaza with the pavilion in the old local centre.
Here is also the Iglesia de Virgen de los Remedios, which was destroyed at a fire in 1996, and reconstructed 2004 based on old construction plans.
