The small village Arguayo is located near Santiago del Teide, at the TF-5 between Las Manchas and Chio.

The place is known for its pottery crafted in the original technique and tradition of the Guanches. The pottery production can be seen in the pottery factory Centro Alfarero, and the small Museo Etnográfico Cha Domitila provides information on the history of the island and their traditional pottery.
